General Info about the Event
Who is organising Metamorphose 2026, and who is the Knowledge Partner?
Metamorphose 2026 is being organised by XLRI School of Management, Jamshedpur, in collaboration with McKinsey & Company as the Knowledge Partner for the conclave.
When will the conclave take place?
The conclave runs from 25th to 27th September 2026. Check-in at the venue is by 3:00 PM on the 25th, and check-out is by 11:00 AM on the 27th. The formal programme concludes with dinner on the evening of the 26th.
Where will the conclave take place?
The conclave and accommodation will be at ITC Mementos, Udaipur. Early check-in or late check-out requests to align with flight schedules can be made, subject to hotel availability.
Who will be attending the conclave?
Metamorphose 2026 will bring together approximately 120 CHROs from India, the Middle East and Singapore. The conclave is designed to foster meaningful connections and facilitate interaction among eminent leaders.
Conclave Agenda
What is the agenda for the conclave?
The conclave is a multi-format event blending formal sessions, expert speak, themed meals, cultural immersions and local sightseeing. McKinsey is our Knowledge Partner and the programme will be built around McKinsey's State of Organizations Report 2026. The detailed agenda is being finalised and will be shared well in advance.
What will the daily schedule look like?
A detailed schedule will be shared closer to the conclave dates. Tentatively, the programme is spread across two days: Day 1 includes three sessions of 30 to 45 minutes each, led by senior McKinsey leaders, and Day 2 consists of six sessions of 30 to 60 minutes each.
Who will be the speakers at the conclave?
The conclave is being led by prominent industry figures. As McKinsey is our Knowledge Partner, senior leaders from McKinsey will anchor the sessions, alongside eminent XLRI faculty.

Logistics
Who will organise the travel & accommodation?
XLRI will cover economy-class flight tickets to Udaipur from your city of origin and back, along with cab transfers between Udaipur Airport and the hotel. A dedicated Udaipur tour itinerary has also been curated in association with a leading local tour company. All of this is arranged and funded by the institution.
What will be included in the accommodation?
Accommodation will be provided for two full days of the conclave, 25th and 26th September 2026, inclusive of meals.
Media
Will there be any media presence at the event?
There will be media coverage during and after the event. Proceedings will be published only with the consent of all participants, and summary points will be circulated for review before publication.
Will the content be validated with the concerned CHRO if there is any attribution in the press release?
Yes. Summary points and any attributed content will be circulated for review and validated with the concerned CHRO before publication.
Spouses of the CHROs
Are spouses invited to accompany CHROs at the conclave?
Yes. XLRI warmly welcomes spouses to accompany CHROs throughout the conclave, and travel and accommodation arrangements will be made for them as well.
A parallel engagement plan will be in place for the spouses. This will typically include sight-seeing, onsite activities et al. Udaipur knows how to enthral its guests!
What travel and accommodation costs are covered for spouses?
XLRI covers economy-class flight tickets and accommodation (inclusive of meals) for the CHRO's spouse for the duration of the conclave, 25th and 26th September 2026, on the same terms as the CHRO.
Can my children travel with me as well?
As per policy, tickets are arranged only for the CHRO and their spouse. Guests wishing to bring children along may do so at their own cost.
